Hi, I'm Emily — the photographer behind Tiny Asian POV.
I've always been drawn to the idea of preserving a moment in time. The moment a photograph is taken is an instant we'll never get back. People change, places change, and life keeps moving—but a photograph allows us to return to that one fleeting moment and remember exactly how it felt. To me, that's what makes photography so beautiful.
My journey with photography began as a way to document my artwork, but it gradually became something much more. Photography gave me a way to step outside of the studio, interact with the world around me, meet people, and capture life as it happens. Unlike drawing, where I can spend hours alone creating a single image, photography allows me to experience a moment as it unfolds and freeze it in time almost instantly.
My Approach
I love capturing the moments that happen naturally—the laughter that wasn't posed, the quiet concentration of an artist at work, the excitement of a celebration, or the little interactions between people that might otherwise go unnoticed.
I'm drawn to photographs that feel genuine and alive. Whether I'm photographing a portrait, a family, a couple, a birthday celebration, or an artist creating something, I want to capture more than just what a moment looked like. I want to capture the feeling of being there.

Why Tiny Asian POV?
POV stands for point of view—and that's exactly what photography is to me: seeing and capturing the world from my perspective.
And yes, the name is also quite literal. As a small Asian, Tiny Asian POV is a playful description of both who I am and how I see the world through my camera.
Every photographer sees a moment differently. Tiny Asian POV is my way of sharing the moments I notice, the people I meet, and the stories I experience—one photograph at a time.
